TruTech Specialty Motors is a business designed to take advantage of recent consolidation of motor manufacturers in the US which has resulted in large companies with a focus toward high-volume standard models manufactured primarily in China. This consolidation has left significant segments of the motor market underserved. These underserved markets include specialty motors in volumes of 5000 per year and fewer, custom designed motors and legacy motors.
TruTech will build replacement or similar legacy motors for discontinued MCG, PacSci, Kollmorgen.
Staff
The founders of TruTech Specialty Motors, Dan Martin, Ted Paskvan, Lowell Christensen and Tom Frick have extensive backgrounds in management, motor design/development and sales.
Dan Martin, Founder/CAO, has a BSEE and MBA from the University of Minnesota and has started two successful businesses previously.
Ted Paskvan, Founder/CEO, holds a BSBA degree and has direct experience working with sales and distribution organizations.
Lowell Christensen, Founder/VP Engineering, holds a BSEE degree and has over 20 years experience with motor design.
Tom Frick, Founder/VP Manufacturing, has an ICET with over 20 years of experience in motor and drive design, manufacturing, testing and support.
